Co.Arts Azores exists to explore the transformative power of storytelling and theatre - scripted and unscripted - as tools for building community, expressing culture, and strengthening social connections. Rooted in celebrating and sharing Azorean traditions and open to global perspectives, we co-create performances and workshops that value local voices and promote artistic collaboration.

We envision an inclusive and bilingual arts center in the heart of the Azores, where people from all backgrounds come together to tell stories, explore identities, and celebrate the beauty of community. Through performances, classes, and residencies, Co.Arts Azores fosters a sustainable arts scene that values local culture, empowers underrepresented voices, and strengthens social bonds.
